No Manipulation

GateBreak does not use publication, editorial handling, reference checks, formatting, or visibility as tools to manipulate manuscripts, citations, authors, readers, or third parties.

GateBreak exists to provide an independent online publishing space, not to create artificial bibliographic influence, citation pressure, editorial pressure, or hidden promotional mechanisms.

What No Manipulation Means

No Manipulation means that GateBreak will not alter the author's argument, interpretation, conclusions, references, or intellectual position in order to create artificial advantage, visibility, promotion, or influence for anyone.

No Citation Manipulation

GateBreak will never require authors to insert articles by other authors into the references as a condition for submission, acceptance, publication, visibility, or editorial support.

No Forced References

References must be chosen by the author according to relevance, accuracy, truthfulness, and scholarly usefulness. GateBreak may request formal correction of incomplete, inconsistent, missing, unverifiable, or incorrectly formatted references, but it will not impose references for citation advantage.

No Artificial Visibility

GateBreak does not create citation networks, inflate bibliographic visibility, promote preferred authors through reference pressure, or use publication to manipulate the visibility of specific authors, groups, organizations, institutions, or external interests.

Why GateBreak Does Not Apply Manipulation

GateBreak rejects manipulation because the author's intellectual responsibility and independence must remain intact. Editorial handling is limited to technical, formal, bibliographic, legal, ethical, and compliance-related support.
